Executive Director GIDSS

Dr Raminder Singh has been the founder of GIDSS, a Canadian international charity, working for the betterment of people in Canada, North America and South Asia. Dr Singh, with PhD in Political economy, has taught in many universities and colleges. Dr Singh has written three research books and numerous articles, published in various countries. In Canada, Dr Singh had started his career as Crisis Counsellor and program manager at VS Toronto Police. He also worked as Fundraising coordinator in many organizations. Dr Singh visions to build a Nonviolence world, free of hunger and poverty.

There are hundreds of people around the world who are dedicating their lives to help the needy and marginalized groups without any personal gain. The CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals is a charity dedicated to addressing economic and social barriers affecting black youth ages 14 and over. Their activities are focused on youth workforce development, education, and advocacy to influence systems and policy. Their programming currently includes training in 5 labour market gaps: Tech, Trades, Film, Social Services, and Hospitality to support the strengthening of the social service sector in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
